This message was inspired by the awe I remembered feeling watching my sister-in-law, Shirley Weasel, holding her tiny first child. That sweet preemie ~ Angie Matessa ~ now has two daughters of her own. Angie's "Emily" has been featured on a number of Cardthartic cards over the years (including LR202 and LR242).

The image of these pumpkin seeds being held so carefully ~ hands in hands ~ was taken by a stock photographer, so we can't know the identity of the child. It was the child of my Miami Beach friend Electra Paul who inspired this message. As the back of the card says, "Honoring Gretchen's new brother, Dylan."
